SUPPORT THE SPRING LAKE PARK SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Panther Foundation mission is to impact the education of all students, empower strategic innovations and to be a bridge between the community, students, and staff of the Spring Lake Park School District.

The Panther Foundation is the education foundation that supports the Spring Lake Park School District, serving students from Blaine, Spring Lake Park and Fridley Minnesota. It was started in 2004 by a group of community members, staff, and parents who were passionate about providing a way to provide financial resources to the school district to enrich the educational experiences of all its students.  

The Panther Foundation turns donations and fund-raising dollars into grant awards and special projects that impact education, empower strategic innovations and bridge the community, students, and staff of the Spring Lake Park School District.

Since 2004, the Foundation has awarded over $1.5 million to the School District to fund over 200 projects and initiatives.  In 2014, the Panther Foundation started an Angel Fund; a fund with dedicated resources for students and families in crisis or need.  The Foundation has also provided significant support for the District's food pantry - a resource managed by students, for our students.  The Foundation is making a difference for the students of Spring Lake Park. 

• Over $14,000 was donated to the Spring Lake Park School District Athletics and Activities as a result of the 2014 Panther Foundation Golf Fundraiser
• Over $104,000 has been awarded to grant projects involving instructional technology including iPods, iPads, e-readers, software, and smartboards
• The Panther Foundation contributed to the Northpoint, Woodcrest, and Park Terrace playground projects.
• Over $25,000 was raised at the 2011 Gala to help put smartboards in each of our elementary school classrooms.
• The Foundation gives $2,000 each year to the backpack project to ensure all students have the school supplies they need to start school
