For many - especially at-risk youth, adults and underrepresented populations - safe access to waterways, quality instruction and equipment is out of reach.  This initiative exists to change that. 

The PADDLE if FORWARD Project is a community-driven non profit organization committed to uplifting those that need it most and are lacking access, resources and instruction to safely recreate on the water.  We partner with industry professionals to provide free, immersive recreational programming and transformative experiences, strengthening participants water safety knowledge and connection to their sense of place.  We are committed to our continued MISSION of improving Emotional, Physical and Mental Health & Wellbeing by providing programming and access to underrepresented, at-risk populations.

Safely, responsibly & with integrity, we connect people to waterways through paddling and outdoor recreation.  This Project improves Emotional, Physical and Mental Health & Wellbeing to those that need it most.  We do this by partnering with industry professionals to provide free immersive recreational programming and safe access to equipment and instruction.  It is through constant & continued organizational & individual Outreach, Stewardship, and Education that we are increasing Water Resource Protection, enhancing the Economic Vitality of the Region and improving the overall Quality of Life for our current & future Generations.
