The Outreach Lab – Building Community Power, Leadership & Our Next Evolution

The Outreach Lab is a grassroots, community-led organization created to strengthen civic engagement, develop local leadership, and expand the power of everyday people. Growing out of years of on-the-ground organizing through The People’s Canvass, The Outreach Lab represents our evolution — a new chapter rooted in training, leadership development, and collective action.

Since 2019, our team has connected with thousands of Minnesotans through door-knocking, phone outreach, voter education, and movement building. As we shift into our next stage as a 501(c)(3), The Outreach Lab is expanding this work to:

• Train the next generation of community organizers and movement leaders

• Provide tools, mentorship, and development pathways for emerging leaders

• Strengthen civic participation in working-class, immigrant, and BIPOC communities

• Create accessible, community-centered engagement programs

• Build long-term infrastructure to support grassroots organizing across Minnesota
