Your support matters.
Each year, your support of the Ordway and it's work to connect people with the arts makes it possible to produce and present concerts, comedy, and Broadway @ the Ordway. This season, the stages are filled once again with talented artists and the theater doors are open and ready to welcome you back.
As a nonprofit performing arts center that belongs to the community, we are committed to providing meaningful and thoughtful arts engagement even though our lights are temporarily dimmed.
Because of donations from individuals:
- Students and teachers from around Minnesota and Wisconsin have been able to participate in Virtual Field Trips. Featuring online performances by artists, post-show Q&As, companion lesson plans, and more, each Virtual Field Trip is designed to spark imagination and provide a way to engage with the arts.
- Exciting and uplifting programming has returned to the Ordway stages. This month, Fiddler on the Roof opens the 2021-2022 Broadway at the Ordway series. The fresh, authentic version of the beloved musical theater masterpiece will introduce a new generation to the powerful, heartwarming story. And this holiday season, you can turn up the holiday cheer at Jim Brickman: The Gift of Christmas and Lightwire Theater's A Very Electric Christmas.
- A dedicated team has been able to keep up with the maintenance of the theaters, ensuring they will remain safe, clean, and ready for you when you are ready to return for an in-person performance.
We can't wait to welcome you back for a show.
Over the past 20 months, the Ordway was able to overcome the challenges at hand, reimagine programming, and keep the Ordway in sparkling condition because of the generosity of individuals. And now, we have been able to reopen with hopefulness for the future and continuing gratitude for the your incredible support. We hope to see you at an in-person performance this season so you can see the fruits of your investment in action.
