Afghan families are currently being resettled in Minnesota and there is an urgent financial need to welcome them and provide for their immediate supports.

Your donation today will allow our newest neighbors to access safe lodging, healthy meals, legal services, and coordinated resources immediately upon arrival. With your help, Operations Allies Welcome in Minnesota will maximize the community capacity to welcome Afghan evacuees through a coordinated community response and strategic investment of resources. These efforts will ensure that every new arrival has access to the supports they need to rebuild their lives and contribute to Minnesota communities.

Welcoming people seeking safety is a long and significant part of Minnesota's tradition and history. Welcoming newcomers is also an investment in our state's economic future.

Your donation today is an impactful and meaningful way to help the newest Minnesotans feel supported by our community.

Public-Private Partnership

The federal government, Minnesota state government, Minnesota nonprofit organizations, and generous individual donors are coming together to help evacuees find secure housing, employment support and vocational training, basic needs like clothing and personal care items, and immigration status to remain safely in the United States.

In addition to supporting Operation Allies Welcome in Minnesota, please consider supporting current Afghan Placement and Assistance Program partner nonprofits: Minnesota Council of Churches,  International Institute of Minnesota, Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota, Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota, Arrive Ministries, The Advocates for Human Rights.
