Open Doors for Youth serves youth ages 16-24 in the Elk River and surrounding areas who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

As a forward-thinking organization, Open Doors is committed to using a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach to the issue of youth homelessness. We prioritize offering a safe, welcoming space for youth, and an opportunity for them to build relationships with reliable adults.

We walk alongside and lift up youth as they set their sights on a brighter future.

We provide immediate access to basic needs, individualized case management, free mental health support, access to healthcare, and critical connections to resources and service providers, in a familiar and comfortable space. We aim to provide barrier-free services to young people in need of help.

We employ a trauma-responsive, youth-centered, strengths-based approach.

We support bold steps by youth as they move towards positive and healthy 

networks of support, personal well-being, and housing stability.

Mission: Open Doors for Youth provides a safe and inclusive environment, where youth are empowered to move towards positive and healthy networks of support, personal well-being and housing stability.
