The Zephyr Theatre

The Zephyr Theatre - Professional Performing Arts in the Heart of the St. Croix Valley

In 2013, we started producing theatre at Twin Cities stages such as the
Southern, the Ritz, and the Music Box theatres. In 2016, the search began
to find a home in the St. Croix Valley and discovered the long-vacant
Minnesota Zephyr Train Depot. By the end of 2018 we completed the
purchase of this new home in Stillwater. With the building secured, Only
A Dim Image Productions was recreated as a nonprofit and rebranded
as The Zephyr Theatre.
Our goal remains the same: bring the benefits of art through theatre,
music, dance, and arts education to the community. We provide these
benefits to audiences through collaborations with artists, businesses,
and other nonprofits. With dedication to artistic innovation and
exploration for the young and old; we are a gathering place where all
are welcome and individual artisitic expression is heard and valued.

Our Successes

During our short history in the St. Croix Valley we have:
- Reached over 53,000 audience members
- Served over 3,680 youth in our arts education programming
- Held over 325 productions and events
- Welcomed over 200 Sustaining Members
- Hosted over 100 concerts
- Partnered with over 80 businesses
- Offered Arts and Music Education programming in 12 local schools
- Joined with dozens of other nonprofits to offer arts events

Our Goals

- Produce 6 mainstage plays, and host 75 concerts each year
- Grow our Sustaining Members to over 1,000 individuals
- Continue expanding arts and music programming for students
- Grow our Sustaining Partnership by 300 new businesses
- Collaborate on additional events in partnership with other organizations
- Grow our endowment by continuing our fundraising work
- Renovate our stage and begin construction on our expansion
