$10,000 Goal

At One Village Partners, we partner with rural communities in Sierra Leone as they develop sustainable solutions to their most pressing self-identified challenges.

In Sierra Leone, women often carry the weight of their families’ wellbeing but can lack access to the financial tools, education, and opportunities that unlock their full potential. By investing in women—who are rebuilding their lives after years of economic hardship and limited opportunity—you help ensure that their leadership drives long-term stability and prosperity across communities.

In Sierra Leone’s rural communities, women like Massah Morie are rewriting their stories through One Village Partners’ Nurturing Opportunities for Women (NOW) program. Before joining the NOW program, Massah started a business but did not know how to track business expenses and profits. She would over-spend at times and relied frequently on loans. Then, Massah heard about the NOW program and decided to join to learn how to increase her income and savings.

Through NOW, Massah learned how to manage money, plan for the future, and run her business with ambition. She shared, “NOW: Agribusiness has taught me how to plant and harvest cassava…about rice swamp farming, how to cultivate and store our rice, and how to do farming work to benefit us.”

The impact from NOW is life-changing:

  • 99% increase in household income among NOW: Agribusiness participants

  • 95% of NOW: Household Finance participants shared the learning materials with someone outside their program, helping equip more people with resources to grow their income and save for the future

  • 2,520 women have graduated from the NOW program since 2016

This Give to the Max Day, your generosity can open doors for more women to join the NOW program. Your gift provides picture-based materials, training, and support that help women lead their businesses and sustain their families. Will you give to One Village Partners today and invest in the women of Sierra Leone so they can transform their futures?
