More than just books . . . A timeless resource for the community.

Onamia Depot Library was founded in 2009 by a group of Onamia Area Friends of the Library who wanted to keep Library services in town.  As a public library the Depot provides  educational programming, free computer and Wi-Fi access, a Link to the services of East Central Regional Library, and access to a variety of print and non-print materials. This beautifully-restored, historic train depot holds a ton of history.  Stop and visit!

Library Schedule: Tuesdays 11:00-3:00.
Thursdays 2:00 - 5:00.  Email us at onamiadepotlibrary@yahoo.com to arrange library visits at another time. East Central Regional Library is on location Tuesdays, from 11:00 - 1:00.  We are located at 204 Roosevelt Road - across from the Water Tower on the recreational Soo Line Trail which follows the old railroad tracks .

With funds raised through GiveMN 2021, the library will purchase books, upgrade technology, and maintain library operations. We strive to have a large variety of books for adults and children. We rotate books out, donate double copies and offer them for sale as part of our fund raising. We want to encourage people to read books and use computers. Free computer use is available during open hours, the Wi-Fi service is left on 24 hours for the community.  Many patrons use the library computers to access forms, job applications, taxes, education, communication, games, entertainment, and access other information.
