Founded in 1883, Northwood Children's Services has provided a brighter future for thousands of children. Northwood surrounds children with chances to succeed...at experiences and at relationships. Each day is shaped to encourage success and feelings of accomplishment. Every positive achievement, every friendship, prepares the child to return to their family and community.
Education, recreation, individual therapy and family support are all important parts of their treatment. Also, their recovery depends in large measure on how well they learn the most basic of human lessons-that we are all worthy of love, and that we are all capable of giving.
