Help support Northland Counseling Center's Kiesler Wellness Center and Healing Foundations Therapeutic Farm!

Northland Counseling Center has been providing services to individuals with mental illness since 1959. Northland provides an array of services, including Counseling, Medication Management for Adults and Children, Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS), Case Management, DBT, Day Treatment, Chemical Dependency Treatment, Children's Therapeutic Supports (CTSS), Certified Peer Support, Pathways to Recovery (BHH), Mobile Crisis, and Supportive Housing services. There are also community based programs such as the NOW Program- which aims to empower adults with mental illness and connect them to competitive employment, and Kiesler Wellness Center (Formerly Kiesler House) - a peer driven clubhouse focused on Mental Health Recovery. 

Northland Counseling Center is also proud to announce the start of the Healing Foundations Therapeutic Farm (coming in January of 2017)!  The farm will utilize Animal-Assisted Education, Activities, and Therapy Interventions as a means to treat mental health concerns in an innovative, creative, and client-centered approach.  Healing Foundations Therapeutic Farm will offer Day Treatment services to school-aged children and also be a place for others to receive interventions utilizing animals and horticultural interventions.

This year, we are asking our donors to assist us in reaching our goals for both the Kiesler Wellness Center and the Healing Foundations Therapeutic Farm.

With your help, Northland can reach the goal of building a new Kiesler Wellness Center that will meet the needs of members and provide immediate access to many mental health resources in our community. Please view the "Kiesler Wellness Center Capital Campaign" Project below for more details.
