Northfield Day Care has been around since 1969. Our longevity is a testament to our simple goal: we hope to contribute to that lasting and life-long benefit:  A HAPPY CHILDHOOD. Towards this end, we strive to give our children unconditional affection, maximum freedom, and a host of opportunities to discover the realities of the world and her or his place in it.


What's your favorite thing about Northfield Daycare?  The merry go round?  Nap treats?  The Valentines?  The kitty games?  Ok teacher?!


The philosophy of play as best preparation for learning and interactive social skills as practiced in an atmosphere of trust and love have been all over the news lately.  But it's been all over NDC for 50 years.  Your donation to our non-profit daycare keeps this treasure of Northfield running. 


We all know that it is the teachers that make NDC special. Your past donations have helped us renovate our playground and update the kitchen. Your continued support will help us reach our longstanding goal: paying our teachers a livable wage. Our aim is to start new teachers at $15/hour.


As a non-profit that runs on a shoestring budget, your donations will help to assure the continuity of this Northfield treasure.  The success of NDC and its longevity are due to its fabulous staff of teachers and its unique philosophy that encourages independence, curiosity, community, and play.  The children of Northfield Day Care benefit from the generosity of people like you.  Friends the kids make here are friends they have for life.  For your support we thank you.
