The Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference (NMRC) is a registered 501c3 organization that supports students and teams in robotics. Currently, the NMRC consists of 36 High School teams and spans +40,000 square miles across Northern Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota. While HS robotics (FIRST Robotics Competition) is our primary focus, we also support robotics programs for elementary and middle school-aged students (FIRST LEGO League) and students with special needs (Unified Robotics). The NMRC has a strong history of supporting and sponsoring programs with a targeted focus to grow and support the involvement of students with special needs, women, and Indigenous people in robotics.

  • To increase student participation in robotics competitions
  • To provide students with increased access to robotics clubs and competitions
  • To use the field of robotics to increase students' interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math.
