The Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference (NMRC) is a registered 501c3 organization that supports students and teams in robotics. Currently, the NMRC consists of 36 High School teams and spans +40,000 square miles across Northern Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota. While HS robotics (FIRST Robotics Competition) is our primary focus, we also support robotics programs for elementary and middle school-aged students (FIRST LEGO League) and students with special needs (Unified Robotics). The NMRC has a strong history of supporting and sponsoring programs with a targeted focus to grow and support the involvement of students with special needs, women, and Indigenous people in robotics.

To increase student participation in robotics competitions
To provide students with increased access to robotics clubs and competitions
To use the field of robotics to increase students' interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math.
