Community Connection Initiative

We are thrilled to announce the Community Connection Initiative, a two year pilot program that expands our already successful programming in Lincoln Park to other parts of Duluth. Our goal is to use the arts to build connections between families to make our communities stronger. Strong families make strong communities, and communities are made stronger and better when neighbors get out and meet each other!

The City of Duluth, Essentia Health, St. Luke's Health, Duluth Rotary Club #25, Ordean Foundation, Whole Foods Co-op, Minnesota Power, and other generous businesses and individuals have come alongside us to expand our already successful programming in Lincoln Park to other parts of Duluth. 

All of our programs and events are "family forward," which means that everyone in the family from age 2-102 is included and can find something of value in it. 

We have started a monthly program in Morgan Park for families called "Around the Table."

Our Community Nights at Harrison program has continued to be successful - we meet each Thursday night from 5:30 to 7:00 pm for snacks, art, STEAM projects, and tons of fun.

Our large scale events - Haunted Happenings and Egg-Splosion - returned in October of 2022, and it has been so much fun to see old friends and make new ones.

Which brings us to this year's "Give to the Max Day" goal: We are looking for 50 people willing to donate $10 a month or more for this upcoming year! So many businesses and foundations have gotten on board and seen the value and importance of our programs. We need to show potential funders that we are supported and valued by individuals as well!

If you sign up through GiveMN, you can set up an automatic monthly withdrawal, so you don't even have to think about it!  You can do this at any time of the year, but if you do it now through November 16th (Give to the Max Day!), you can help enter NEAC into drawings for more grants and cash prizes.
