The Mission of Northeast Contemporary Services, Inc. (NCSI) is to inspire and cultivate self-sufficiency in people with disabilities through expanding individual choices for fulfillment and improved quality of life.

For over 55 years, NCSI has been providing exemplary services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they explore and participate in employment and career building, educational and independent living skills, and retirement opportunities.

DID YOU KNOW?  According to The OneMinnesota Baseline Quantitative Survey* conducted for the Minnesota Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities, having a disability has more impact than race or ethnicity on overall negative feelings related to access, inclusion and how one is treated by others.  All people with disabilities, White and BIPOC, are equally less likely than people without disabilities to feel welcomed and treated as equals by other people. 

At NCSI we nurture an environment where people with disabilities feel welcomed and treated as equals every single day, and we are working hard to ensure that the individuals we serve can expand their community access, involvement and relationships.
