North Star seeks to encourage, educate, and enable an active lifestyle focussed primarily on outdoor activity throughout the year.  We strive to participate in dog power sports such as dog sledding, skijoring, hiking, biking, or just spending time with your dog whether you have one furry friend or ten in your kennel.

North Star is a non-profit, membership based club, actively educating the public on the history of dog sledding, the care of canine athletes, and the lifestyle of you and your dog each and every day. Your generous donations enable us to accomplish our missions of community programs, educational outreach, and promotion of canine powered sports.  Thank you!
