At North Star Community Rowing, we believe rowing should be for everyone — not just a privileged few. Our programs are available in the Twin Cities to people of all abilities, helping them build community, confidence, and fitness. 

Rowers like Leo, who is visually impaired, Emma, who was born very prematurely and has cerebral palsy, and Will, who has autism, share practices with non-disabled teammates who once thought rowing was out of reach. Together, they’re redefining what inclusion on the water looks like. Your gift helps us expand that vision. 

With your support, we can raise $15,000 to make rowing accessible to even more of our neighbors.

How Your Gift Will Help:

Your generosity will help with program fees and other essential needs such as:

• $30 gas for the coach's boat for one season
• $60 space rental fee for one indoor practice
• $100 one specialized low-profile life jacket 
• $200 one set of grip assists (an essential tool for some adaptive rowers)
• $500 a fixed seat (for rowers with spinal cord injuries)
