North Point

With 225+ students having entered the doors over 6000 times in just over 2 years, we have served over 80% of our teen community in Cook County.  

We believe Teens are a vital part of every Community. 

Hopelessness is becoming a defining story of this generation. That’s why North Point is focused on bringing HOPE to teens in Cook County. Because we love teens & believe when they know their God-given value, it unleashes untold potential in their lives. 

Growth happens from the inside out. 

We want to get to the root of what teens are dealing with. Through our programming, we help teens form meaningful relationships and realize their true value. All of this happens in environments where teens feel safe and can be themselves and have fun.

When teens start believing what is true and possible, it changes everything. 

Through grace-based programs and environments, we help teens learn to believe in their value and worth, their capabilities, and their potential. We are creating a safe environment for teens.

In Partnership with Treehouse, the message we communicate to teens is: 1) They are lovable, capable and worthwhile.  2) They are loved without strings & never alone. 3) They have a future.

Programs.

We offer programming for 8-12 grades: Drop-In, Wednesday Lunches.  Community Youth Group, Mentoring, TreeHouse Support Groups, Retreats, Summer Adventure activities, Teen events.  School Sports teams also use our space for team events, meals and banquets.  

We renovated a closed down bar in the center of downtown Grand Marais, into a unique hangout gathering area, a safe-space, just for our local teens.

North Point, Inc. is a nonprofit organization 501 c(3) established in 2020.  We purchased and remodeled the old American Legion to be a safe space for our teens.  We would like to invite you to support Cook County teens in our community. All donations goes back to the youth.
