The mission of North Country Ride is to promote personal growth and development through equine-assisted therapeutic, educational and recreational activities. Our vision is a community where all people can find growth and healing through a connection with horses.

In our Therapeutic Riding Program, riders gain strength and mobility as they perform stretches, weave through poles, and play games on horseback. In the Horsemanship Program, riders learn to communicate with the horse through posture, leg and arms movements as well as verbal cues. The benefits of equine-assisted therapeutic activities include improved core strength, balance and coordination. Participants in our Veterans and First Responders Program focus on being calm and in the moment along with a horse partner, which leads to lowered heart rate and blood pressure and increases their overall sense of wellbeing.  

We serve community members of all ages and abilities. Each rider works on individualized goals while connecting with a horse. North Country Ride is committed to providing riders with a quality experience and opportunity for personal growth in a safe and caring setting.
