$14,000 Goal

Dear Friends and Family,

During the challenging times of this global pandemic, we were amazed by the generosity and support of our community. With your help, we weathered the worst of the storm and are joyfully welcoming live audiences back to the theater again. Not everything is as it was quite yet, but we are gradually getting back to our "normal" business of supporting cutting edge works of overlooked, under-represented communities of our theatrical landscape through innovative, exciting & excellent theater productions. We remain committed to equity; leveling the playing field by hiring BIPOC & LGBTQIA artists to create a rich theater landscape which represents our experience and our stories as Americans.

In 2022, under a new strategic plan, we partnered with Yellow Tree Theatre to co-produce Passing Strange on the Yellow Tree Theatre stage. Our partnership with Yellow Tree allowed us to continue our mission to support our actors, designers, technicians, and artists of color (financially and in other ways). In 2023, we were proud to once again Partner with YTT to co-produce Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill starring Thomasina Petrus. This year we will be co-producing Once Upon A Time...Josephine Baker by Austene Van, directed by Thomasina Petrus. This partnership keeps our operational and overhead costs low, so that we can prioritize competitive living wages for our staff and artists.

YOU can help us in this effort! If you value the excellence that New Dawn Theatre provides to our communities, please make a donation during our Give to the Max campaign. Meeting our goal of $14,000 will allow us to hire understudies, keep our budget on track, ensuring brilliant theatrical performances and well-supported artists for years to come.

Thank you, as always, for your support!
