Serving Homeless Families with Children from Central Minnesota ~ With Locations in Cambridge and Brainerd
New Pathways' Mission
New Pathways, Inc. ensures that families with children who are experiencing homelessness have shelter, resources, skills, and assistance necessary to thrive.
New Pathways is a non-profit organization that operates multiple programs for homeless families with children in Central Minnesota with Family Day Centers in Brainerd and Cambridge.
Through partnerships with area churches, New Pathways serves homeless families with children by providing private sleeping accommodations, three meals a day, case management, skills training, and a safe, welcoming environment.
During the day, the families spend their time at the Family Day Center where they receive comprehensive support services that include intensive case management and skills training. The Family Day Center also provides the families with personal care items, an address and phone, laundry and shower facilities, the use of computers with internet access, and countless resources for housing, employment, and obstacles that might stand in their way of finding appropriate housing.
During the evenings, the families stay at local host churches where they are given private sleeping accommodations, three meals a day, and warm hospitality.
The New Pathways' Path-to-Home programs successfully help hundreds of homeless individuals each year.
