Nevada Paralyzed Veterans of America Nonprofit Corporation

Nevada Paralyzed Veterans of America was founded in April 1999 to ensure that paralyzed veterans attain the quality of life which they are entitled to. Through our outreach efforts, sports programs, and health and wellness services, we provide veterans with what they need to remain active members of their communities.

We encourage participation in wheelchair athletics by funding members to participate in events such as the National Veterans Wheelchair Games as well as local athletic events.

We also work within our community with various other veterans' organizations as well as partner with the City of Las Vegas Adaptive Recreation Department and the City of Reno Adaptive Recreation Department.

We are funded through grants, investment income and donations, as well as various fundraising events we hold annually.  We receive no federal, state or local government money.
