Since 1989, NeDA has worked to build vibrant and thriving communities. 

Neighborhood Development Alliance builds affordable housing and empowers communities to create sustainability through financial education and guidance. We are working to close Minnesota's homeownership disparity gap for households of color, particularly for Latino families.

Our accomplishments:

$1,000,000 in deferred, home rehabilitation loans to 175 West Side homeowners

 $40,000,000 of real estate development in the East Metro area, predominantly on the West Side, including 84 single family homes and 159 affordable rental apartments

6,500 individuals counseled on how to successfully buy a home

5,500 families advised on how to avoid foreclosure of their homes

Over 1,500 youth and adults educated with personal finance workshops

More than $750,000 of debt repaid through our financial tools
