Help us take care of our front-line workers so they can care for our community!

Healthcare workers, including those at NACC, have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, sometimes risking their own lives to care for patients. However, levels of stress and burnout amongst frontline healthcare workers have reached crisis levels. In recent surveys of healthcare workers, 93% reported experiencing stress and 76% reported exhaustion and burnout. One in 5 physicians and 2 in 5 nurses reported that they intend to leave their practice altogether.

NACC’s staff are our most treasured asset and every day they are making an indescribable impact on the families and individuals that we serve. This year, a donation to NACC on Give to the Max Day will help us support our front-line workers in two special ways.

1 - A contribution towards a new permanent roving staff member who can fill in temporarily if a staff member needs a respite for a short period before returning to their work post. With COVID and other stressors taking their toll, patient visits can be quite emotional. From time to time, our team needs to be able to take a breath before moving on to the next patient visit.

2 - A contribution towards flex time that our patient care and outreach teams can take as needed so that they can ensure they have the mental and physical wellbeing needed to offer the high-quality personalized health care that all patients receive at NACC.
