MVMF provides scholarships and educational grants to benefit animal health and ensure the future of veterinary medicine.

"I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up!" For many young people, becoming a vet is their dream. In fact, it is the top career choice among kids in the Midwest. But when these kids grow up they are faced with the harsh reality that their dream comes with a median educational debt of $176,920 by the time they finish school. Veterinary school tuition has doubled in the past 15 years, yet starting salaries are not rising proportionally to meet the financial needs of recent grads.

The Minnesota Veterinary Medical Foundation's mission is to support the future of veterinary medicine, one student at a time, one scholarship at a time, one dream at a time. The MVMF now awards more than $150,000 in educational scholarships and animal health grants each year to deserving and needy Minnesota students, and to programs that promote student leadership and animal health.
