Music that Makes Community practices communal song-sharing that inspires deep spiritual connection, brave shared leadership, and sparks the possibility of transformation in our world. We offer resources, training, and encouragement to individuals, organizations, and communities in the dynamic power of singing to connect others and ourselves.

In this year-end fundraising season of 2024, we're inviting folks into the powerful act of singing together.  Won't you join us?

The world needs more folks building community through song, now more than ever. Folks willing to listen to their own pulse and that of the group moment and then offer a song that can validate and express feelings, calm our nervous systems, and/or support our brave courage in taking the next step.  Folks willing to be brave and offer a melody for harmony to appear. 

Our Executive Director, Conie Borchardt, is casting a vision of "A Songleader in Every Household, Every Family" where everyday people are empowered, resourced, and skilled to be Collaborative Ritual Artists.  Whether you spend time in movement/activism or spiritual/religious spaces, that means there will be multiple song leaders in your community.  At a time where burnout is high, we need to share leadership to be sustainable.  

We invite you to join us in sustaining this transformative work by considering a gift of any size toward our "Championing Brave Community" Campaign. Our Minnesota fundraising goal is $5,000 by the end of the year. We invite you to join us with a gift of any size — all contributions make a difference in our ability to provide programming throughout the United States and Canada.
