Donor gifts help enhance resident's lives.

In spite of the stressful times we are all experiencing, our mission and commitment to our seniors has not changed. We provide the highest quality care possible for the people we serve at Mount Olivet Home and Mount Olivet Careview Home! The COVID-19 crisis has led to big challenges, and we need your support more than ever! Keeping our residents connected to family and friends is so important. With group programs cancelled, technology has become the new connector! Our staff is using iPads, computers, and cell phones to keep our residents and families connected, entertained, and learning. Our therapeutic recreation staff is working hard to make Face-Time and cell phone calls for everyone. Unfortunately, we only have a few iPads for our 250 residents. We need more! We are grateful to our entire team of caregivers, from nursing and activities staff, to the housekeepers and maintenance team. They connect with residents on many levels. We would love to offer them an occasional treat—a soda, a donut, a bus ticket or other “thank you”—to show our gratitude for doing their part during this crisis. People have asked how they can help. Many are suffering in our community, so we hope you will take this request in context of our knowing that there are a plethora of needs. If you can make face masks, drop off items on the wish list, or send a small gift, we thank you warmly. Use the enclosed envelope or go online to and click donate. Your prayers make a difference, too. Email or call 612.821.3150. Thank you!! God bless! Be well!

Mount Olivet Home is a 94-bed, semi-independent living facility featuring private rooms for people in need of assistance in daily living tasks. For almost 60 years, Mount Olivet Home has helped older adults live as independently as possible in a safe and supportive environment. Our residents can manage the activities of daily life, but often need help with medications and other services. Residents furnish their rooms with favorite possessions, and most people eat their meals and enjoy other refreshments in a dining room on the main floor. Educational and entertainment opportunities, outings to area restaurants, and weekly worship services help keep them intellectually and emotionally refreshed. Special personalized activity kits help keep residents occupied during the COVID-19 crisis.

Directly connected to its skilled-care, attached facility, Mount Olivet Careview Home, residents can transition easily when  care needs increase. We also offer a secured memory-care unit for residents coping with the stages of memory loss. Residents living in the memory-care unit eat meals in a dining room located on floor where they live.  All residents engage in supervised activities designed to stimulate memories and entertain. Helping residents find joy in each day is our mission. As with all our programming, the goal is to maintain our residents' health and dignity as they continue on life's long journey.

Please consider giving generously to support these efforts!
