Mount Carmel Ministries

Mount Carmel Ministries exists to foster spiritual growth in Jesus Christ by applying the Bible to everyday life.

We do this at our site in Alexandria, MN and by our off-site ministries as well. First, on-site. Mount Carmel is a year-round teaching/conference center and a summer family camp. We offer: * 8 week-long summer programs for families and adults with a morning Bible study for adults and a youth program for kids of all ages. * 8 Elderversities in the spring and fall, either 3 or 5-day stays for senior adults, give this generation a chance for spiritual renewal along with fellowship and laughter. * Other year-round opportunities include conferences for theologians, choir directors and singers, international students and families, married couples, pastors and women. Our ministry programs offsite include: * Daily Texts, a devotional book published each year with two verses and a prayer for each day. This simple resource will guide your devotional time as you meditate on these two verses using the TRIP method of praying. * DWELLINGintheWord.wordpress.com - our unique Bible reading blog. Together we read one chapter each day five days a week while being inspired by music, poetry and humor that goes with the Scripture reading for that day. * Walk Thru the Bible seminars- either the Old or New Testament, brought to your church. These 5 hour seminars help congregational members from ages 6 to 106 to learn the key people, places and events of either book. Participants grow in their own faith as they hear these Bible stories.
