The Mounds View Police Foundation exists to support the Mounds View Police Department through programs that create community partnerships which fund and support community safety initiatives, community outreach programs, expand the use of technology in deterring and solving crime, improve the readiness of our police department, and build long-lasting and positive police-community relationships. We partner with the City and other community organizations throughout the year to achieve these goals.
Since our formation three years ago, the Foundation has sponsored the Mounds View Daddy-Daughter Dance, helped fund safety programs for children, and helped fund the purchase of a new K9 unit. We also assist the Department with a number of their community outreach efforts, including Shop With A Cop at Christmas and sports events throughout the year.
