Mission

Mother Bear Project sends comfort and hope to children in Africa and other emerging nations that are highly affected by HIV/AIDS by providing them with knit and crocheted bears made by volunteers all around the world from our pattern.  These bears are unconditional gifts of love from the bear makers' hands and hearts to a child's arms.  Over 152,000 bears have been distributed over the past 16 years.
