Introducing Minnesota Wild Sled Hockey Program

Minnesota Wild Sled Hockey Program is an organization dedicated to making sled hockey available, and affordable, to every willing player physically unable to play standup hockey.

We are a Minnesota-based 501c3 non-profit corporation that provides opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in hockey and promotes the development of excellence in hockey in Minnesota.  Minnesota Wild Sled Hockey Program is open to players ages 5 and above with physical and/or cognitive disabilities that prevents playing stand-up hockey.

Our programs: Currently, Minnesota Wild Sled Hockey Program is made up of four teams:

  • Youth C: Introduction to hockey, our youngest players
  • Youth B: Skills development and gameplay
  • Youth A: Continued skill development, competitive play, introduction to national programs
  • Adult: Advanced development, national development, and competition

Our program believes in a person first philosophy; the focus is on the person, the athlete, the HOCKEY PLAYER, NOT the disability.

Hockey is for everyBODY!
