The Minnetonka Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1952 to enrich the quality of life in the community by making visual art a part of everyday life. Studio classes and workshops are scheduled year round for adults, teens and children of all levels of experience and skill. In the winter of 2002, the Art Center moved into its current facility designed by James Dayton of James Dayton Design, Ltd., in Minneapolis; a state-of-the-art facility with specialized studios for sculpture, woodworking, painting, ceramics, photography, fiber arts, and multi-purpose rooms for drawing, printmaking, jewelry, glasswork, and many other art forms.
