Minnesota Leadership Council On Aging

Minnesota Leadership Council on Aging is a champion, thought leader, planner and educator that advances positive system change for older adults, their families and caregivers.  Although diverse in our areas of expertise, our members come together around a common mission to work together to create communities and systems that support aging with dignity and a spirit of well-being in Minnesota!

On November 17, 2022 we ask you to do your part and ensure that the Minnesota Leadership Council on Aging remains a strong and transformational force in the state of Minnesota.

Since March 2020, the world in which our members operate has notably changed - with the COVID-19 pandemic disproportionately putting older adults at greater risk of illness and death, and worsening barriers to service, food insecurity, social isolation, and a digital divide. This is particularly true of marginalized communities. 

In addition, following the killing of George Floyd, our work to support diversity, equity and inclusion in the field of aging has never been more important. To offset reductions in grant funding being diverted to cover essential operations in the non-profit aging community, we will dedicate 100% of resources raised through Give to the Max Day to advance our priority work championing diversity, equity and inclusion in the field of aging.
