Minnesota Valley Trust

The Minnesota Valley Trust expands and improves opportunities for people to connect with wildlife and nature on the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. 

An urban wilderness stretching along the Minnesota River from Fort Snelling to Henderson and beyond, the refuge is home to birds and wildlife of all kinds.  For people, the refuge offers many ways to get outdoors and connect with nature year-round -- hiking, paddling, snow-shoeing, hunting, fishing, photography and wildlife observation.

The Minnesota Valley Trust supports the refuge with land acquisition, habitat restoration, construction and operation of visitor facilities, and support for education and outreach programming.
