Superior U17 Girls/FMP - 2025 YCC Champions!

Founded in 2003, Minnesota Ultimate (MNU) is a youth-based nonprofit organization that provides equitable, accessible, and quality programming to all youth players in the state of Minnesota. Our programs include: High School League; Middle School League; and Superior Youth Club. 

MNU SUCCESS BY THE NUMBERS IN 2025 (TO DATE)

• Over 2,300 participants across all programs
• 81 active high school teams, the second highest number in the nation 
• Partnered to run 5 leagues, 8 tournaments, and 18 clinics and camps

WINNING AT THE 2025 YOUTH CLUB NATIONALS!

With generous support from individual donors, we were able to send all five of our Superior teams to USAU’s Youth Club Nationals (YCC) and have a historic year! As you will see below, from August 1-4 our players represented.

To close out the 2025 Superior season, please consider offering financial support so that we can continue to build upon this year’s success. With your help, we will head into the 2026 Superior season with less of a fundraising hill to climb.

SUPERIOR SUCCESS BY THE NUMBERS

• 121 players on our 5 Superior teams – U20 Mixed, U20 Girls/FMP, U20 Boys/MMP, U17 Girls/FMP, and U17 Boys/MMP - traveled to Aurora, CO for the YCC tournament! 
• 100% of the players who asked for financial aid received funding! A huge thanks to our donors who offered financial support this past spring in order to make this possible! 
• 13 of our BIPOC players participated in the Color of Ultimate showcase game. Initially broadcasted live, you can watch the game here! You will see some highlight reel worthy plays by Superior team members.
• Together, our 5 Superior teams had a record of 22 wins and 11 losses! 
• 3 of our 5 Superior teams – U17 Girls/FMP, U20 Girls/FMP, and U20 Mixed - made it to their respective semi finals! 
• 2 Champions! U17 Girls/FMP and U20 Mixed took home the gold! 
• 1 Fourth Place! Our U20 Girls/FMP team came in as the 13th seed and was “this close” to a top 3 finish!
• 1 Sixth Place! Our U17 Boys/MMP team came in as the 11th seed and finished 6th!
