Minnesota  Ballet Theatre

Bringing the Beauty of Ballet to Our Community

Support Local Ballet. Inspire the Next Generation of Dancers.

Minnesota Ballet Theatre is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving the beauty of classical ballet, nurturing young talent, and bringing inspiring performances to our community.

Founded in 2014 by Svetlana Bak-Gavrilova and Kirill Bak-Stepanoff, graduates of the prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia, Minnesota Ballet Theatre creates opportunities for aspiring dancers to experience the artistry and discipline of professional ballet.

Through our productions, including the beloved holiday tradition The Nutcracker, young dancers have the opportunity to share the stage with professional guest artists, develop their performance skills, and experience the magic of live theatre.

Your Support Makes a Difference

Every donation helps us:

• Create beautiful ballet productions for our community.

• Provide meaningful performance opportunities for young dancers.

Celebrating 25 Years of Nutcracker Magic!

In 2026, we proudly celebrate the 25th Anniversary of The Nutcracker, a cherished tradition bringing generations of dancers, families, and audiences together.

Your generosity helps us continue this tradition and create unforgettable experiences for our young performers.
