Give to the Max for MOCA
Give for Research

DOUBLE your impact for ovarian cancer research!

From November 1-20, the first $25,000 in gifts to MOCA’s Give to the Max campaign will be matched by a group of generous donors, including the Hegman Family Fund.

Your gift today goes twice as far to change the future of ovarian cancer.

Research Brings Hope

Daphne Hall is a 13-year ovarian cancer survivor and a dedicated MOCA supporter. Her passion for awareness and research motivates her to make a difference for others.

“I am determined to advocate for continued advancements in the fight against this disease. Strides have been made, but there is still so much to do,” said Daphne.

Daphne believes MOCA-funded research provides real hope.

“There is so much competition in the scientific community for research dollars that it is necessary for organizations like MOCA to lead the charge in developing new treatments and look for an early detection test,” shared Daphne.

Your Donation Drives Progress

Thanks to our supporters, MOCA’s research funding is making more progress possible. MOCA has provided nearly $13 million for research focused on finding an early detection test, better treatments and one day—a cure. Our top-funded researcher, Amy Skubitz, PhD, University of Minnesota, shared this about MOCA’s research:

“What makes MOCA stand out from other funding agencies is that MOCA is able to help get promising projects off the ground. Researchers turn to MOCA for funding to explore innovative and promising new ideas,” said Dr. Skubitz. “Funding from MOCA enabled my laboratory to use novel technology to test the blood of over 1,000 women and identify proteins in those with early stages of ovarian cancer. MOCA funding has also led to our exploration of using Pap tests to identify protein biomarkers for women with ovarian cancer."

Together, we are making progress!
