Minnesota New Country School

Minnesota New Country School is a grades k-12 Public Charter School since 1994. Located at 210 Main Street in Henderson, MN 56044.

We are proud to be a project based school.  Project Based Learning allows students to follow their passions by giving them choices in what and how they learn.  Students are encouraged to investigate their interests and produce quality projects every time.  Students are expected to use the world outside of our school as their learning resource. We explore with frequent field trips and activities that are all designed to spark the imagination and project ideas.  This hands on method of learning puts the expectations for performance on the student, and they are accountable for their success.  Our individualized approach to learning teaches students how to find resources, set goals for themselves, become self motivated and ultimately gives them skills for the world beyond school.
