Empower Black Deaf Futures: Support the Expansion of Deaf Gain Innovations Program (DGIP) for Employment Justice!.

MDMC is Asking for Your Contributions to Help Extend the Reach of Our DGIP Program

The Deaf Gain Innovations Program (DGIP) by MDMC is a groundbreaking initiative focused on ensuring employment justice and accessibility for the Black Deaf and underserved communities. DGIP is unique in its approach, addressing workplace bias and barriers that have historically limited opportunities for communities of color. Through specialized training, both apprentices and employer partners learn to identify and eliminate implicit bias, creating a more inclusive environment.

DGIP stands out for its comprehensive support system, providing each apprentice with a dedicated job coach who tailors guidance to their specific needs. This program doesn’t just stop at basic training; it offers ongoing services to ensure every participant’s success. The goal is clear: to secure gainful employment for individuals with disabilities in positions they choose.

By integrating apprentices fully into their work environments—physically, functionally, and socially—DGIP is paving the way for equitable job opportunities. Your support can help expand this vital program, breaking down barriers and empowering the Black Deaf community to achieve lasting employment success.

Join us in championing Black Deaf excellence and standing for justice! By donating to MDMC's Deaf Gain Innovations Program (DGIP), you are giving Black Deaf individuals, those with disabilities, and underserved communities the access and opportunities they deserve. Your contribution will help break down barriers, create equitable workplaces, and empower individuals to achieve their full potential.
