  • To transform families by continuously equipping the professionals who serve them.
  • To connect and network our diverse group of family-serving professionals.
  • To receive MinneNews updates on opportunities, resources, and people in the field.
  • To assure the future of MNCFR.

WHAT difference does MNCFR make in our field?

  • At the 2017 conference, Food for Thought: Better Nutrition, Better Health, Stronger Families, Stronger Communities, a workshop leader (a nutritionist at a clinic specializing in eating disorders and the mother of three) attended the entire conference and has become a board member!
  • A conference attendee who was recovering from anorexia expressed her concern about attending the Food for Thought sessions because she might feel shame and judgment. Instead, she shared that she experienced hope and affirmation.
  • Prior to the 2015 conference on Addressing Gender in School, a committee member expressed concern that no one would attend.  On the contrary, registration closed early due to high demand. In addition, a family friend was moved to tears that finally, finally, finally an issue their family lives was being addressed.
