The mission of the MN Chiefs of Police Foundation (MCPF) is to advance high quality, effective policing and strengthen police-community relations in Minnesota through training, outreach, grants and scholarships.

MCPF Priorities:

(1) Drive Training & Officer Wellness - We aim to equip our communities with the most effective, ethical and competent police leaders and officers. (Example: Provide scholarships for officers to attend the Executive Training Institute)

(2) Advance Community Partnerships - We offer grants to Minnesota police departments to fund community engagement initiatives aimed at building trust and partnerships between the public and law enforcement. (Example: MCPF Community Partnerships Grant Program)

(2) Promote Diversity & Recruitment - We aim to strengthen the profession by driving effective recruitment and outreach efforts, promoting diversity in law enforcement, and providing scholarships for students to pursue a career in law enforcement. (Example: Provide scholarships to students pursuing a career in law enforcement through our Wear the Badge Scholarship Fund)
