To assist students who are interested in business and entrepreneurship financially with books and tuition costs.
MBCC is excited to announce the establishment of a new Collegiate Scholarship Award. This Scholarship is designed to assist students interested in business and entrepreneurship. Over the past three years, MBCC has deliberately engaged in programs targeting youth including implementing the Black Youth Apprenticeship Program, participating in the St. Paul Public Schools Transition Initiative, and most recently by developing a partnership with the University of Minnesota Black Student Union. MBCC believes that in order to build a stronger community, we must provide access and opportunity to our people at a young age. Thank you to all the individuals, organizations, and businesses who donate to help us in providing scholarships to deserving youth in our community; your generous contributions combined with your support will help to create a fund that will assist a young person on the path to academic success. About MBCC MBCC is a vibrant, committed organization of area businesses, owned by Africans and Black Americans. The Chambers membership includes businesses in manufacturing, wholesale, retail, professional services and non-profit organizations. We represent many different facets of the community working together to create, grow and proliferate Black-owned businesses. The Minnesota Black Chamber Of Commerce serves as a clearinghouse, referral service, and a small business initiation tool to better equip and inform its members of current and necessary business requirements. The chamber also promotes its members products and services and it provides quarterly networking mixers to keep you and your business in the public eye. While the focus of the organization is on the Black American Community, our membership is open to all persons irrespective of their race, creed, origin or political affiliation. Our common goal is to make the "American Dream" come true for all of its citizens. We also work jointly with the National Black Chamber of Commerce and with other ethnic Chambers of Commerce's on economic development and employment issues. We invite you to join us in our mission and to help us make our community, city, state, and country the best it can be for all people. Sincerely, our Board of Directors Thank you for your support!
