Explore. Discover. Connect.

At Farmamerica, Minnesota’s Agricultural Interpretive Center, you can explore, discover and connect with the evolution of agriculture and its relationship to the world around you. Only 2% of Minnesotans are farmers, therefore we must be intentional about teaching the impact farmers have on every Minnesotan's life.

Farmamerica was established by the Minnesota legislature in 1978 to preserve and promote the State’s agricultural heritage.  It is located on 360 acres in south-central Minnesota, the heart of the GreenSeam region, in the midst of some of this nation’s most productive farmland. Farmamerica serves thousands of visitors annually and supports agricultural literacy, environmental awareness, and lifelong learning. With a mix of school-age field trips, tours through historic buildings, and fun-filled family events, Farmamerica's audience spans all age categories.

Currently, Farmamerica is in the midst of our Rooted and Growing Capital Campaign. This campaign is allowing us to develop new programs, build an inclusive playground, and renovate our visitor center with new displays to tell the story of today's agriculture. Will you help us by donating $25, $50, or $100 so we can show the next generation the importance of agriculture in Minnesota?
