Minneapolis Nature Preschool

At Minneapolis Nature Preschool, we believe every child deserves the chance to explore, play, and learn in nature. Through curiosity and wonder, children build confidence, creativity, and deep connections with the natural world, even in the heart of the city.

Because of the generosity of supporters like you, MNP has grown far beyond our preschool program. Over the past year, we hosted ongoing forest clean-ups, offered joyful summer camps, and partnered with Bryn Mawr Elementary to help K–5 students experience the benefits of outdoor learning. We also developed a one-of-a-kind curriculum, now in the process of being copyrighted for publication, that centers mental health in early childhood education. With our alumni community growing, we launched monthly meetups and created a summer camp volunteer program for middle school alumni, ensuring the MNP spirit carries on for years to come.

This year, our Give to the Max goal is $15,000. Your gift will help us continue to provide scholarships that make nature-based education accessible to more families, strengthen our community programs, and nurture our thriving school forest.

And we’re dreaming even bigger. Our next great adventure is finding a permanent home for Minneapolis Nature Preschool, a place where our roots can grow deep, where more children can learn and play outdoors, and where our vision for nature-based education can flourish for generations to come.
