Support Minneapolis Musical Theatre's mission of providing quality, affordable works of musical theatre that have been rarely - or never before - seen by Twin Cities audiences.

Since our founding in 1992, Minneapolis Musical Theatre has brought over 50 area premieres to the Twin Cities, including several award-winning productions. Our shows are locally crafted, featuring the skills of area performers, musicians, directors, and designers, often highlighting emerging talents within the local theater scene.

Recently we brought our work to unconventional spaces through site-specific productions. Our productions of “High Fidelity” at the Electric Fetus in Minneapolis, "Daddy Long Legs" at the James J. Hill House in St. Paul, and “Hands on a Hardbody” at the Luther Cadillac car dealership in Roseville have introduced our work to new audiences and provided an innovative, accessible way to experience the arts.

We are so thrilled to be presenting JANE EYRE in April 2027! Featuring a book by John Caird and a soaring score by MMT favorite Paul Gordon ("Daddy Long Legs", "Analog & Vinyl"), this moving story of one woman’s resilience and independence will be brought to life in the historic chapel at Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis. Marking MMT’s return to site-specific work, the production invites audiences into a uniquely immersive experience shaped by its intimate, atmospheric setting.
