We Are Singing the Music that Makes A Difference.

The Minneapolis Commodores is a male Acapella Barbershop Chorus. We have been chartered by the Barbershop Harmony Society for over 75 years.

We perform many public concerts, including Annual and Christmas Shows. During a normal year, we average about 12  public concerts ranging from food shelf fundraisers to lakeside or outdoor pavilion concerts for the public.

We also donate 25% of our Annual show profits to Crescent Cove in Brooklyn Center MN. It is a respite and hospice home for kids. It offers care and support to children and young adults that have a shortened life expectancy. It is the first pediatric hospice and respite home in Minnesota, and only the third in the nation.

We also support the Harmony Foundation which provides barbershop singing experiences for young people l6-25. They also provide scholarships in the summer for music educators, high school students, and college students, ending with a  Mid-Winter Festival featuring over 20 Youth Choruses from all over the world, totally financed by the Harmony Foundation. Last year’s site was in Jacksonville, Florida.
