Midwest School of Ballet

Midwest School of Ballet is a 501(c)(3) non-profit  training school dedicated to providing a comprehensive dance education with a solid foundation in ballet and modern techniques. The school is devoted to enriching students' worlds for a life time by exposing dancers to the richness and diversity of dance expression. 

We offer classes in both Eden Prairie and Edina, along with programs and classes throughout the Twin Cities at various locations.

We are a school focused on technique, artistry and the love of movement, not on competitions and recitals. We use methods designed to encourage exploration, foster creativity, self confidence and artistry.  We want movement to be offered and open to all students interested in trying Ballet and Modern techniques.  We offer classes for ages 3+.

What is your contribution helping with?

- Scholarships for families that need financial assistance to enroll in classes.

- Free Summer Library -  Creative Movement classes for the young (started in Summer of 2018)

- Integrated- Special Education Creative Movement Classes for the young (started in Spring of 2019)

- Free Showcases at the end of the sessions for families and friends (including costumes, rental fees, technical support and more)
