Featured Opportunites:
NEW! Alumni Professional Development Fund
You can help a recent grad launch their career with your gift to the Alumni Professional Development Fund.
Alumni graduating with degrees in in-demand fields often delay starting their careers because of licensure or testing fees. Members of the alumni board had a big idea! Making small grants will help recent grads launch their careers. Your gift, combined with the gifs of others, will help remove barriers for new graduates!
"Graduates from the Master of Science in Co-occurring Disorders Recovery Counseling are required to complete 4000 hours of supervised practice following graduation to reach their goals in some cases, they have to pay for this supervision, which has stringent qualifications. Many graduates work in BIPOC, immigrant, and economically disadvantaged communities. Assistance with the $400 licensure application fee would help them clear the final hurdle to become fully qualified independent practice-level mental health counselors."

Student Support The SAFE Fund (Student Assistance For Emergencies)
Metro State students balance family, jobs, and school to complete their degrees, but sometimes small emergencies arise that can derail progress toward graduation. The SAFE Fund provides students with a one-time grant to keep them on track to finish their degrees.
Metro State University was founded on the belief that people should have the opportunity to make possibilities into realities by continuing their education and completing a degree. Your gift to the SAFE fund helps turns possibility into reality!
“When a student has something unexpected happen, like a flat tire, it can completely disrupt their life. Coming up with a few hundred dollars for an unexpected expense can cause them to make a choice between addressing the issue or spending it on needs like getting groceries. It can be the difference between them staying in school or not. Consider donating to our SAFE Fund, so these unexpected emergencies don't disrupt their life/education.”
