November 19 is Give to the Max Day, and we need your help to raise $5,000 for the Metro Fund. Your gift to the Metro Fund helps Metro State provide support where students need it most. Meet the Stories You’re Supporting

Alesha returned to college more than 11 years after earning her associate degree. As a first-generation, non-traditional student, she wasn't sure she could make it through one semester at Metro State. Today, she's working toward her bachelor's degree through the Individualized Studies program and considering a master's degree in Art and Technology. Her experience has reaffirmed that she can thrive in higher education.

Kameel is preparing for a career at the intersection of justice and technology. A double major in Computer Forensics and Criminal Justice, he is gaining experience through an internship with the Ramsey County Attorney's Office and pursuing certifications in digital forensics. As an international student from Nigeria, support from the Metro State community has helped ease financial and logistical challenges, allowing him to focus on his education and professional goals.

Tshepo studied business administration with hopes of using entrepreneurship and technology to create opportunities and strengthen communities in his home country of Botswana. His education is helping him build the knowledge and skills to pursue a future with purpose and make a difference for others.
