Bridges span ravines, uncertain waters, and mazes of roadways. We cross bridges on our paths to new destinations. We might stop atop a bridge to look down and marvel at the water below- but do we often consider how these bridges are constructed and fortified?
Mentoring is a bridge. Mentors allow young people to cross safely through tumultuous life experiences, but they, like bridges, must be well fortified to support this journey.
MENTOR Minnesota is a bridge builder and fortifier. 1 in 3 of our young people is growing up without the support and encouragement a mentor can provide.
At MENTOR Minnesota, we lead the quality mentoring movement to ensure youth and mentors have access to high-quality mentoring experiences through our network of more than 200 mentoring programs across the state. With your support, MENTOR Minnesota is able to increase youth access to mentoring by bridging connections among youth development professionals, building ideas and innovation through cohort training, providing critical no-cost consulting to programs, and building out networks of support that span a youth’s lived experience.
$50 provides one hour of free technical assistance for a youth mentoring program
$100 supports one convening session of the Program Services Council mentoring program leadership coalition
$750 funds one full consulting project from start to finish – including building a recruitment plan or screening process for mentor applicants
$2,500 facilitates one coaching cycle of the National Quality Mentoring System which assesses a program's ability to provide more meaningful and safe mentoring experiences
Your gift helps ensure every young person in Minnesota has safe passage across their many bridges to adulthood.
