Mcleod For Tomorrow

McLeod For Tomorrow is a county based leadership program that focuses on building leaders and connecting communities. Our goal is to invest in the lives of community members to increase participation, skills, and connections within the county. 

2021 marked the 13th class year for our program. Each year has hosted 16-24 participants. Once per month we meet for leadership training by the University of Minnesota Extension, meals, and tours of local businesses. This process allows participants to not only grow their skills, but also become more invested in the community.

The U of M extension conducted research on our program which suggested that every dollar invested into the program, generated 6 times over in value to the county. 

Participants say that McLeod For Tomorrow taught them about what is all available in the county where they live and work, and that they learned a lot about themselves. We want participants to become connected to the community and be engaged in change making.

To participate in our program, participants must live or work in McLeod County. That's it. We welcome participants of all ages, fields, and backgrounds. This diversity is helpful to the group by offering unique perspective. 

Funds donated to our campaign will be invested back into the leadership program operations. This will include things like food costs, supplies for participants, bussing expenses, and graduation gifts and expenses.
